Shipping Policy
Order Processing
All Chosen & Written journals are printed on demand. This means each journal is carefully prepared and produced specifically for you once your order is placed.
Please allow 7–14 business days for your journal to be printed, assembled, quality-checked, and prepared for dispatch.
Business days exclude weekends and public holidays.
Once your order is ready, you will receive a confirmation email notifying you that your package has been shipped.
Shipping Method
We ship all orders via Aramex South Africa.
Once dispatched, delivery typically takes 3–5 business days, depending on your location within South Africa.
Please note:

Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to courier delays, peak seasons, or unforeseen circumstances.

Chosen & Written is not responsible for delays caused by the courier once the parcel has been handed over to Aramex.
Tracking details will be provided once your order has been shipped.
Shipping Fees
Shipping fees (if applicable) will be calculated at checkout. We may offer promotional free shipping at our discretion.
Incorrect Addresses
Please ensure that your shipping details are accurate at checkout.
Chosen & Written is not responsible for orders delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. If a parcel is returned due to incorrect information, additional shipping fees may apply for redelivery.
Print on demand policy
Because all journals are printed on demand, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for:
• Change of mind
• Incorrect orders placed by the customer
• Minor variations in print tone or cover color (due to screen display differences)
Each journal is made specifically for the individual who orders it.
Refund & Returns Policy
Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@chosenandwritten.com
Your email must include:
• Your order number
• Clear photos of the damaged item
• A brief description of the issue
Once reviewed and approved, we will arrange either:
• A replacement at no additional cost, or
• A refund, where applicable
Non-Delivery
If your tracking shows “delivered” but you did not receive your parcel, please contact Aramex directly first. If further assistance is required, you may contact us and we will do our best to assist.
Cancellations
Orders may only be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase, provided production has not yet begun.
Once a journal is in production, cancellations are not permitted.
